Ok, sorry I haven't updated in just about a year. It's been a busy year. Between all of the camping in the spring and the trip to Sturgis for bike week in August, added with work.. ok, so I'm making excuses.
I am also sorry that I had to close down the guestbook. There was just WAY too much spam on there. For those of you that DO want to sign it, the username and password for the forums are tenojin and spamsucks. I'm not telling which is the password and which is the username, as it just may be self-explanitory. ;)
Ok, a little something different. I unintentionally tried to kill myself last month. I actually had a weekday off, and what better way to spend a day off than cleaning? I just never realized that cleaning my bathroom would kill me (or try to). I had just finished cleaning the shower with Scrubbing Bubbles and was going to take a shower. I put in one foot, went to put the other in, the first foot slid out from under me, I smacked my head on the edge of the tub and split around my eyebrow. Lucky me, I was home alone. Extremely lucky me, I didn't black out. A quick phone call and within minutes, Curt was taking me to the urgent care clinic. I thought I was going to get stitches, but they glued me back together. Isn't medicine amazing? I could have done that at home and not have a bill.
With my views on my own mortality, I'm on a mission. I have decided in addition to the work I'll be doing for tenojin.com (which I am putting off launching until possibly the first of '08), I'm going to look for old friends, tie up loose ends, and stop being a hermit (or start, whichever the case may be). With Des out here now, it's pretty difficult matching up our schedules and getting together. Even though she lives not five miles away, I have seen her once in the three weeks she's been here.
